What is clean energy?

Clean energy refers to energy derived from natural resources that do not pollute and have the least impact on the environment. It includes energy sources that do not emit greenhouse gases or contribute to global warming and can be used sustainably without depleting limited resources like crude oil, which might be exhausted in the future.

what is clean energy

There are several types of clean energy:

  1. Solar Energy: Includes light and heat from the sun's rays, which can be used to produce heat and electricity.

  2. Wind Energy: Derived from sea and offshore winds, used to generate electricity through wind turbines.

  3. Hydropower: Comes from the movement of water, used to generate electricity using water turbines.

  4. Biomass Energy: Comes from agricultural or industrial waste materials such as wood scraps, rice straw, or animal manure.

  5. Geothermal Energy: Comes from heat beneath the earth's surface, used to generate electricity or as hot springs.

Clean energy is a sustainable and environmentally friendly option. Efficient utilization of clean energy helps reduce the use of limited resources and minimizes environmental impact.
